摩登时代观后感
1936年 2月5日,《摩登时代》在纽约利沃里剧院首映。当时正置世界经济危机后期,资本主义国家工人普遍失业,社会动荡,经济萧条。在如今资本主义依然存在的今天,此影片仍然是一部很好的反映资本主义剥削本质的影片,亦可看出资本家为了获得剩余价值不择手段的做法,拼命地压榨无产阶级工人。
卓别林的《摩登时代》这部**深刻地反映了当时的社会现实,它让人们在笑声中看到资本主义黑暗以及不合理的社会制度。资本主义国家残酷、黑暗的现实,资本家无休无止的压榨,已使许多人民无法生存,流浪街头,沿街乞讨,连工人的吃饭时间都相剥夺,因此发明了吃饭机器,让工人在吃饭时能腾出手脚来继续干活种种做法的最终目的都只是为了获得更多的剩余价值,因为剩余价值才识资本家最终想要获得的就是更多的剩余价值。
在影片开始的镜头里,先是羊群拥护在一起走过,紧接着是一大群工人拥护着走进工厂,形式接近,给人一生种想哑然失笑的感觉,同时又使人对那个造成“机械化”的社会形态的深深思索。暗喻工人的命运和羊群一样,而查理正是这千百个人中的一个。再如影片还通过豪华的碳化商店、幻想中花园别墅和现实中的破旧木屋,提示了理想和现实的矛盾。在监狱里,人虽失去了一切自由,但不用为失业、饥饿所困扰。在街头,人虽然获得流浪的自由,但要为无家可归、难以充饥而痛苦。在工厂,人虽能维持生计,但他却是机器的奴隶。卓别林以独特的视觉形象概括了摩登时代的矛盾本质。在卓别林自己评论来说:那部**是从一个抽象的概念――批评我们的机械化生活方式――发展而来的。

我们的文化里没有卓别林,但我们有张大民。两者在市民文化里的类型比较相似,都是卑微却不悲伤的小人物。
卓别林之所以比张大民耀眼无数倍,一是因为机遇,他作为优秀的哑剧演员恰好赶上了默片时代的辉煌期。时代造就了他,而且他正好也顺应了那个时代的诸种诉求。
另一个,由于默片没有语言,天然的拥有无国界性质,随着各国文化的交流,超越界限的东西总是首先被人理解和接受。
反过来说,张大民则是作为中国改革开放初期,京味市民文化的一个虚拟人物。虽然同样是微笑含泪,但卓别林是活的,他虽然不能张口,但可以用肢体模拟各种人物,包括为人津津乐道的“黑特乐”,塑造的类型越多,越有可能成为传奇与不朽。而张大民虽然拥有一张贫嘴(却也只有一张贫嘴而已),但他永远只能是张大民,给观众带来的欢笑与泪水总是在这同一个名字背后,不管是冯巩还是梁冠华来扮演。
但是,卓别林和张大民代表的是同一个阶层,他们的生活也是那个阶层的真实生活遭遇,而这个阶层是每个民族每个国家都具有的,正是这个被贬损被侮辱被压榨的阶层构成了一个社会庞大的中下层基石。
说了一摞废话,无非想证明,所有区域性文化里都有卓别林,但近100年唯一被我们熟知且铭记的,是那个英国佬卓别林。所以,不论他死的多么凄凉,但从这方面讲,他十分幸运。
再就本片说一下。
《寻子遇仙记》这个片名翻译得很好,显然译者看懂了影片想要说什么、在说些什么。虽然整个故事大部分都在写实,梦只占结尾一小段(相对全片来说),但那个时候连席德.菲尔德他妈在哪都没人知道,自然也就没有好事者来规定**“一二一”的结构。
故事看似讲一个苦人救孤记,但是却在绕着弯说这个“吃人的社会”。这段梦,放在玻璃匠(卓别林扮演)完全绝望之后,也可略见创作者的用意——既然现实让人如此绝望,那就在梦里寻找安慰吧!
而这个安慰的梦却又是一个另外的地狱,陋巷变天堂,所有人其乐融融,没有悲伤和贫困。但天堂也最终也受罪恶侵蚀,勾引、天真、嫉妒、暴力,这一切杀死了刚刚变成天使、得到所谓永恒欢乐的玻璃匠。既可以说这一段是对玻璃匠前面遭遇的总结和再渲染,也可以说是卓别林对美国那时糟糕的生存现状的由衷之言。
这个世界不是什么好的地方,只是我们已经在了这里。
我们的存在不因我们的意愿,而因为存在的就是要存在。
