翻译成信仰了估计是faith之类,但是这个词是可用的,不过您得结合语境;在汉语中信念本来就有信仰的意思,不过现代汉语很少这么用,不过信仰这个词并不一定是宗教崇拜,只是会上升到某种高度

belief主要是对外物或者别人抱有信心

甚至包括trust(和前者接近,不过重点在信用)在内这些词的语源都是一样的,其实都差不多

conviction是形容排除了不信,表现出确信的样子,这个词有判断的意思

楼下说的persuasion已经是自己让别人信了

creed给人的印象是具体、刻板的,信条、守则、经典、主张,也就是说虽然抽象但是个东西
